poor Rita struggled with my boutonniere. I really need to get my act together with the picture taking thing. Thanks to all who were involved with both my showers. Our little one will be well set up when she decides to come out of there. One really fun thing was that my mom was able to come for the one yesterday. My bro Alex came out with her for the weekend and we had us a little fall fest. After the shower we collected the boys and drove up to an apple orchard and picked apples and pumpkins, did a corn maze, rode in a wagon, etc. The boys had a rotten apple throwing contest too. It was a totally perfect, beautiful fall day.
Nate's idea. So then we came home and I made dinner in a pumpkin again-- a fall tradition. You must try this. It is so fun and easy.
Then my mom and I experimented with different variations on caramel apples-- plain, snickers, oreo, butterfinger and apple pie (with white chocolate and cinnamon/sugar). It was super good but I think next time I will try and make my own caramel since I didn't really like the kind we used. Isn't my mom so pretty?
Tuckered out from Fall Fest 2010. It was a super fun day. Wish Zack and Tyler could have been here too. And finally, this is what I look like today-- one month from my due date.
Do I look big? Uncomfortable? Swollen? Tired? That's because I am. But I shan't complain because I am truly grateful to have this baby on the way and I have the best husband in the world taking good care of me. And I only have one more month now! Have I mentioned that??

Your mom IS pretty! She chopped her hair off. It looks so cute! And Alex ("My name's Alex, E-L-E-X!") is barely recognizable to me! And you said, "Shan't." I love you! I hope I get to see you in the next month. The weekend of Nov. 5-7 mayhaps?

You look beautiful, not swollen, tired and worn out, you hide those things well!! I love seeing your prego pix and I can't wait to see baby girl pix. Lisa DOES look beautiful. I love her hair and she reminds me so much of our much-loved and missed Grandma. I miss you and am so excited for you!!
